Grant funding may include up to 60% for eligible professional learning and training-related costs and up to 40% for eligible technology or software used by students in computer science. For a full $40,000 award, up to $16,000 may therefore be available for eligible student technology or software.

This makes it easier for your school system to assess each component against its approved CSTAG budget and LDOE’s applicable funding requirements.

No. Code4Kids provides teachers with the lesson structure, resources and support they need to begin delivering computer science—even if they are new to the subject.
DOES CODE4KIDS REQUIRE SPECIALIST HARDWARE?
No specialist robotics equipment is required for the core platform. Code4Kids is browser-based and works on common district devices. Full technical requirements are available during the district’s product review.
CAN CODE4KIDS SUPPORT MULTIPLE SCHOOLS?
Yes. Code4Kids can support district-wide implementations across multiple schools and grades, with central oversight of student participation and progress.
DOES CODE4KIDS APPLY FOR CSTAG ON BEHALF OF DISTRICTS?
No. Eligible Louisiana school systems submit their own CSTAG applications through the LDOE Super App process. Code4Kids can provide the product, pricing, standards-alignment and implementation information needed to support an application.
